The second call-to-action on GOPrising.com is going to be an email notification to your friends/family of upcoming deadlines. We cannot rely on local meetup groups to be able to contact everyone everywhere about important upcoming deadlines. We must contact our family, our friends, our Facebook/myspace/blog visitors, etc about these deadlines ourselves. The sorts of deadlines/events that will be included here are voter registration deadlines, primary/caucus date, delegate cutoff dates, state conventions, etc.

However, for this to work, I absolutely NEED people to assume the responsibility for managing this calendar/timeframe of events. I can make it easy to do so so that you only need to keep track of your state or region. But I cannot possibly do so for what will be a couple hundred different "events" in 50 different states this 2008 election cycle. If no one volunteers, I will kill the project. Quite literally, the only info that you need to track is date/time, state, URL/link/etc for where to get more info or a description of what the "event" is.

You can see examples of how it will work below. And I will be creating a second campaign on the social mapping software in the coming days so that every RP supporter can easily get the word out to their friends/family nationwide.
